Mission & Values
Save
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10
Jesus Christ was passionate about seeking and saving the lost. Driven by a compassion inspired by Jesus, evangelism is a non-negotiable for disciples of Christ. The greatest, most important decision a person will make in their lifetime is deciding who they believe Jesus Christ is.
Equip
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11–13
Jesus Christ created the church to be an equipping community and loving family where an individual can learn who they really are and how to function as the person they were created to be by God.
Send
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19–20a
Disciplemaking and multiplication are core to the life of a healthy church following the will of Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
Our mission at The Antioch Collective is to assist the church's role in society by empowering individuals and communities through the Gospel. We aim to Save souls through evangelism grounded in the love and teachings of Christ, Equip believers by returning to the roots of Christian practice and devotion, and Send disciples to spread the hope and restoration found in Jesus.
Church Planting Initiatives
Antioch Collective seeks to help those called to establish new congregations based on the New Testament model. Our church planting initiatives focus on creating communities that reflect the early church's spirit of diversity, worship, and mission.
Equipping Workshops
Our workshops, educational classes and curriculums are infused with the Restoration Movement's dedication to scriptural authority, aiming to provide believers with a solid foundation in biblical teachings grounded in practical ministry skills.
Introduction to Our Beliefs
"At Antioch Collective, our mission and actions are deeply rooted in the transformative power of the Gospel. Guided by scripture, driven by faith, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we strive to live out the teachings of Jesus Christ in every aspect of our work. Below, you'll find the cornerstone beliefs that guide our journey."
Core Beliefs
Jesus Christ is Lord
We follow Jesus to glorify God, aiming to restore His kingdom vision. Through embracing the gospel, making disciples, and forming vibrant communities, we seek to live out the commandments of Matthew 28:19 and Acts 2:42.
Scripture: Our Infallible Guide
The Bible, with its 66 books, serves as our infallible guide for faith and life, demanding our full obedience and careful interpretation to avoid cultural conformism, as taught in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and Psalm 119.
The Gospel: Our Hope and Mission
Humanity, created for fellowship with God but fallen, is restored through Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. This promise of eternal life and kingdom renewal for believers is the heart of our message (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Genesis 3; Romans 3:23).
Christian Convictions: Our Framework for Living
Our faith encompasses essential salvation truths, important doctrinal commitments, and personal freedoms, all exercised in love and for mutual edification (Romans 1:16; Ephesians 4:5).
New Birth: Our Entrance into Discipleship
Commitment to Jesus involves repentance, confession, and baptism as expressions of faith, marking our entry into a life of discipleship (John 3:5; Acts 2:38).
Faithful Faith: Our Lifestyle
True faith manifests in surrender to Jesus, encompassing allegiance, loyalty, and active obedience to His lordship (James 2:17; Galatians 2:20).
Holy Spirit: Our Guide and Strength
As believers, we are to be filled, led, and empowered by the Spirit, fostering a prayerful, Spirit-driven life (Ephesians 5:18; Galatians 5:25).
Disciple Making: Our Mission
Our mission focuses on making disciples through evangelism and sanctification, aiming for church renewal and planting (Matthew 28:19-20).
Kingdom Life: Our Pursuit
We strive for holiness and love, rejecting sinful lifestyles while demonstrating Jesus' love through service and community (Galatians 5:19-21; John 13:34-35).
Countercultural Living: Our Stand
Our allegiance to Jesus calls us to stand against societal norms not aligned with the Kingdom of God, advocating for sanctity of life, biblical marriage, racial reconciliation, gender roles, and generosity (Romans 12:2; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
The End: Our Urgency
Urgency in disciple-making stems from our belief in Jesus' imminent return, aiming to fulfill the Great Commission as a reflection of God's original command (Matthew 28:19-20; Revelation 21).
